Making mediation content accessible to a broad audience, transcending academic boundaries and actively involving stakeholders in the usus world: the communities, organizations, and professionals who work in the field of mediation on a daily basis.

This is the purpose of this volume, which aims to foster the emergence of a new culture of mediation that, thanks to the participation of experts and local stakeholders, can transform conflict from an occasion for confrontation into an opportunity for dialogue and mutual understanding.

The volume is the result of a project between the Department of Legal Sciences (DSG) of the University of Florence and the “scientia Atque usus” Research Center for Generative Communication (ETS, sAu Research Center).

The project aims to develop a Generative Communication strategy to enhance the content of the “Civil and Commercial Mediator Profession” Specialization Course and foster the construction of a healthy local community by disseminating the culture and practice of consensual justice.
